Junior Session Programs Descriptions
Net Generation – We are proud to be a USTA’s Net Generation certified coaching program. The goal of Net Generation is to inspire a new generation of tennis players, parents and providers (coaches and those that organize tennis events). Net Generation is focused on empowerment, unity and play, with an emphasis on learning through play and building character on and off the court – not just through drills and competition. Please visit http://netgeneration.usta.com for more information
Short Stuff Tennis (ages 5 to 7) – Short Stuff tennis is your son and daughter’s destination for a fun start to the game of tennis. Movement, balance and other athletic developments skills are emphasized. These skills are easily transferred to other sports as well. We tend to use RED BALLS and FOAM BALLS for this level.
Future Tennis Stars (ages 8-12) – This is the perfect foundation for your grade and middle school athlete. We segregate by age and ability while we teach advanced tennis foundation. This level helps kids to visualize their future high school career! We use a variety of balls to teach advanced technique more effectively. That includes the ORANGE, GREEN and YELLOW Balls. Our camps are famous for their games!
Teen Tennis (ages 13 & Older) We envision this program to be for the 13 or older player with varying levels of experience. This program has a storied history. Many varsity level tennis players have gotten their last “push” before their season in this class. Our curriculum focuses on skills needed to succeed on a high school or middle school team. These skills include consistency, movement, balance and doubles foundation.
