FOOD RESOURCES FOR AURORA RESIDENTS

The resources below may be helpful to residents as we continue to navigate the Covid-19 crisis: 

Volunteers of America

Volunteers of America/ Food Pantry is open to provide food to residents or for donations drop-offs. All Aurora residents are welcome. Please bring photo ID and proof of residency. Call 330-348-0830 to confirm operating hours are still valid.

Monday through Friday from 10 am to 4pm and on Saturdays from 10am to 2 pm.

The Church in Aurora 

The church can supply groceries and supplies. Families can drive-thru and pick up supplies on Fridays between 10:00am and noon at The Church in Aurora (146 S. Chillicothe Road) beginning Friday, March 27. If you are unable to pick up at that time, they can deliver the supplies to your doorstep. Sign-up is required. Click here to enroll. Christ Community Chapel 

CCC is planning to distribute food bags for those in need on Monday evenings between 4 pm and 8pm.  Each bag contains a week’s worth of weekday meals for one person: 5 breakfasts, 5 lunches, 15 snacks (5 pieces of 3 different snacks). There is no cost.  You can call 330-562-3438 with any questions. Sign up is required Click here to enroll.
